Overview

Welcome to the documentation for Snowflake Killfeed v1.1.0.

A cinematic, fully customizable killfeed system with a professional admin dashboard. Designed to operate at 0.00ms resmon idle, it supports auto-detection for Qbox, QBCore, and ESX while featuring a vanilla JS interactive UI.

Features at a Glance

  • Weapon Icons: Renders 104 high-quality .webp images based on the weapon used.

  • Steam Avatars: Displays both the killer and victim's circular profile picture inline.

  • Headshot & Distance Indicator: Red crosshair SVG on headshots, and precise server-authoritative distance metrics (e.g., 145m).

  • Theme Styling: Full live support for entry scale, glow intensity, animations (Slide Right, Fade In, Scale Up, Drop Down), and custom Google fonts.

  • Discord Integration: Advanced webhook logging with rich embeds. Filter out NPC kills or enforce minimum distance limits easily.

The Admin Dashboard (/killfeedmenu)

The hallmark of v1.1.0 is the complete overhaul of the configuration interface. Gone are the days of editing Lua tables for UI layout.

To open the panel, use the command.killfeedmenu ACE-protected command: /killfeedmenu.

1

Appearance

Change killer, victim, and background colors with a live color picker. Adjust opacity, border width, custom fonts, animations, and the exact X/Y position of the UI via a visual, draggable slider.

2

Behavior

Fine-tune UI metrics: Set Message Duration (how long entries linger), Fade Duration, Max Messages limit, and adjust the Distance Threshold before the UI shows meter counts.

3

Advanced Settings

Seamlessly interact with server-side mechanics. Enable/disable the Steam Avatar UI, switch Name Modes between character roleplay names and Steam user personas, and manage your Discord Webhooks inside the game client.

4

The Icon Browser

Quickly browse all 100+ mapped weapon icons natively in the dashboard. An integrated search input easily locates GTA V weapon spawn codes to verify mapping support.

All settings dictate Live Theme Sync. The moment an admin hits "Save Theme," every single player's UI is instantly updated globally without a resource restart!

Ped Kill Showcase Mode

Are you wanting to record promotional videos on an empty dev server?

Simply enable Config.EnablePedKillTest and set Config.PedKillSimulatePlayer to true. When you shoot a local pedestrian (NPC), the system dynamically hijacks the event and injects one of 20 realistic "gamer profile names" and a matching avatar to trick the killfeed into displaying a gorgeous player-VS-player entry.

For precise technical variables, view the Configuration Guide.
